Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the post of Assistant Surgeon (General), a candidate must possess:
- An MBBS Degree awarded by any University recognized by the National Medical Commission (formerly the Medical Council of India).
- Must be a registered practitioner under the Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914.
- Must have completed a House Surgeon (CRRI) tenure for not less than twelve months.
- Must have registered with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council on or before the notification date (21.11.2025).
