Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Junior Office Assistant (JOA):
- Essential: A Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized Board/University.
- Mandatory: A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer. (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on average of 5 key depressions for each word).
- For Office Assistant (OA)/Data Entry Operator (DEO):
- Essential: A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
- Mandatory: One year of experience as an Assistant/Junior Assistant or equivalent in a Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Body/PSU/University.
- Desirable: Proficiency in computer applications and office management tools.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for applying to both the Junior Office Assistant (JOA) and Office Assistant (OA)/DEO posts is generally 30 years as on the closing date of the application (November 30, 2025). Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen) will be applicable as per the rules of the Government of NCT of Delhi/Government of India.
